Our vision is to position Dream Experiences as a leader in responsible travel in Peru; recognized for promoting, protecting, and celebrating the country’s cultural and natural heritage. We aim to support conservation efforts, collaborate with nonprofit organizations, empower local communities, and help ensure that tourism becomes a positive force that preserves history, protects sacred sites, and improves the well-being of the people who call them home.

Who We Are
Pamela Palacios (Founder)
My name is Pamela, and I am the founder of Dream Experiences. I’ve spent many years traveling across Peru, discovering its incredible diversity and the richness of its culture. Those journeys were not just about visiting places, they were about connecting with people, understanding traditions, and experiencing the country in a deeper way. That’s where the idea of this company was born: from a genuine desire to inspire others to discover Peru in a meaningful way.
For many years, I worked in the travel industry, where I learned, grew, and embraced new challenges. In 2014, I created P&C Tours, a company that provided travel programs and services to other agencies, especially in transportation. Through that experience, I had the opportunity to explore new destinations and spend time with local communities and families, experiences that truly stayed with me.
Like many others, we were deeply affected by the pandemic, and P&C Tours had to close. But after that difficult time, I knew I wanted to start again, with a new vision and a deeper purpose. That’s how Dream Experiences was created.
Although it is a new brand, it is built on many years of experience, learning, and heartfelt connections. My goal is simple: to share the Peru I have come to know and love, and to create journeys that not only inspire you to visit, but make you want to come back again.
Oscar Aguayo (Founder of Q’ala Chakis Program.)
Oscar Aguayo Rodríguez is a psychologist and the founder of Q’ala Chakis. His work focuses on the holistic development of people in vulnerable situations, through interventions that strengthen personal, social, and community skills.
From a professional perspective, he has designed and led programs that combine education, mental health, and community development, with a practical approach aimed at sustainable results.
At the same time, he integrates tourism as a strategic pillar for the program’s growth, promoting international volunteer experiences that connect visitors with local communities in an ethical and responsible way. This approach fosters cultural exchange, global visibility, and economic sustainability, strengthening the impact of Q’ala Chakis across communities in Cusco.
His work is driven by the vision of building bridges between social development and the global context, where each initiative not only addresses immediate needs, but also creates lasting opportunities.

The stars in our logo represent the dreams we all carry—the desire to explore, to discover something new, and to find meaning in every journey. They symbolize hope, inspiration, and the magic that travel can bring into our lives.
The compass on the right represents guidance and direction. It reflects our role as your trusted partner, helping you navigate each step of your journey and design a path that feels truly your own.

About Q'ala Chakis
Q’ala Chakis is a social program born in Cusco, with a clear mission: to create real opportunities for people in vulnerable situations by strengthening their skills and promoting holistic development rooted in cultural identity.
The name Q’ala Chakis, meaning “barefoot,” symbolizes the beginning of a journey. A journey that, through learning, guidance, and meaningful work, becomes a path toward progress and hope.
Our program works with children, teenagers, and families, developing initiatives focused on:
- Building essential skills in children (motor, creative, and social)
- Training teenagers in leadership, sexual education, and values
- Supporting families through entrepreneurship, including the creation of handcrafted products such as 950 silver jewelry
In addition, Q’ala Chakis offers international volunteer programs, welcoming people from around the world to actively participate in areas such as education, health, and community development.
Being part of Q’ala Chakis is also a unique cultural experience. Volunteers don’t just support a social cause, they also get the chance to discover the richness of Cusco and Peru, exploring iconic places like Machu Picchu, the Sacred Valley, and the historic city of Cusco.
